Weekly ‘Things That Go’ Challenges!

Calling all builders, makers and creative kids!  Enroll your child in after school Learning with Legos classes to enhance their creativity and building skills. Fun weekly challenges will encourage your young makers to work together to create a prototype, test it and problem solve any mistakes.

Cars, planes, boats, oh my! Students will have fun completing challenges with a transportation/vehicle theme. Learn the science and history behind each machine in hands on lessons. Students can also look forward to re-creating their Lego ideas to take home with recyclables and “junk art” materials from our stash at The Art Park. *Please send a nut and peanut free snack with your child each week.

Meets Thurs. 3:35-4:45 in room 401. Geared for ages 1-5 gr.

Dates: Sept. 8, 15, 22, 29; Oct. 6, 20, 27.

Tuition is $145 for the seven weeks.   Second child is ½ price.


Monart Drawing Class After School
Harry Potter Theme! Second Child ½ price!

Make a collage owl and a custom wand!
If you like the world of magic join us to draw, paint and make sculptures inspired by characters from Harry Potter. Projects include a character sculpture, drawing and painting wizards, mythical creatures, animal pets, make super fun crafts from movie props and customize your own Patronus.

Wheatland: Meets Thurs. 3:45-4:45 in room 401. Geared for ages1-5 gr.

Dates Nov. 3, 10, 17; Dec. 1, 8, 15; Jan. 5, 12.

Science Club After School
Fossil Hunters Calling all future archaeologists!

Science Club is ideal for students interested in science, math, archaeology, literature, creating, exploring, analyzing data, building and working with others that have similar interests. Come and examine rocks, minerals and fossils, to see how each are formed and conduct tests to study their unique characteristics. Make fossil imprints to take home, a 3D dino sculpture, excavate sandy fossils and make a mini erupting volcano.

Dates Jan. 19, 26; Feb. 2, 9, 16, 23; Mar. 2, 9.

Spy Catchers Theme! Learn the Skills and Solve the Crime!

Science Club is ideal for students interested in science, math, criminology, literature, creating, exploring, analyzing data, building and working with others that have similar interests. Learn to decode secret messages, use invisible ink, match fingerprints, test your memory skills and learn what a real crime lab is like. A mock crime will take place in class – be the first to solve the mystery! Discover what it takes for a police officer to gather evidence and track down the lawbreaker. Are your observation skills good enough to solve the crime and track down the suspect? Let’s find out!
