Learning With Legos Classes, “Once Upon a Brick” Theme
This spring semester, storytelling takes the lead! Each week begins with a read-aloud and circle time, using a book and visual prompts to spark imagination. Lego Story Starters kits are specifically designed to support language arts. The goals are to enhance students’ imagination, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills all while building with Legos. Each week our young builders can look forward to creating scenes from books, recreating fables and famous story lines, working with friends to create their own stories and building with fun, new pieces each week. We’ve stocked up on tons of add-ons from Lego and Brick Loot and can’t wait to share our new collections of pets, farm animals, zoo animals, plants and foods. This is a chance for young creators to bring stories to life and develop narrative thinking through building and play with LOTS of free build time.
Dates: Mar. 24, 31; Apr. 7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12. Tuition is $175 for the eight weeks.
