MONART DRAWING CLASSES AT RHRC
Students learn the basics of drawing while experimenting with new media including markers, colored pencils, chalk and oil pastels, watercolor and much more. This guided step-by-step method improves visual perception skills by breaking down the subject matter for children to see and follow along. Join classes now to discover the Monart difference!
Class Meets Mon. 3:45-4:45 at RHRC, Ages: 1-6th gr.
FIRST SESSION: JUNGLE ANIMALS
PAINT A TOUCAN ON CANVAS & USE AIR DRY CLAY!
Draw and learn about the blue morpho butterfly, sloth, jaguar, anteater, tapir, parrot, boa constrictor and so many more! Have fun painting the canopy abundant with jungle life. Students will enjoy using bright, liquid watercolor, wax resist, air dry clay, marker, watercolor crayons, liquid graphite sticks, acrylic paints, chalk and oil pastels.
Dates: Nov 6, 13, 27; Dec. 4, 11, 18; Jan. 8, 22.
Tuition is $95 for 8 wks.
SECOND SESSION: HORSES & FARM LIFE
PAINT ON CANVAS AND USE MODELING CLAY!
Learn about life on the farm while creating collages and drawings of a horses, duck, chicken, goat, mice, cat, dog and more! Students will enjoy watercolor, modeling clay, collage, pastels and acrylic paint on canvas. Sign up for classes and be invited to come to a fun filled morning at The Art Park and interact with LIVE miniature ponies and chickens!

THIRD SESSION: ANCIENT EGYPT
PAINT WITH ACRYLIC ON REAL PAPYRUS & USE AIR DRY CLAY!
Do you love ancient times, mummies and all things Egypt? We do too! Have fun drawing & painting while learning about Bast, King Tut, Queen Nefertiti, the pyramids and Sphinx, mummies, design a scarab brooch and draw on REAL papyrus from Egypt and paint with metallic paints!
Dates: Apr. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; May 6, 13, 20.
