Science Club, Bubble Experiments Theme

Science Club is ideal for students interested in science, math, literature, creating, exploring, analyzing data, building and working with others that have similar interests. This soapy class is good clean fun! Students will have a blast experimenting with different bubble making potions, whittle Ivory soap into a floating boat, make bouncing bubbles, giant bubbles, unbreakable bubbles, craft a bubble blower, paint with bubbles and make rainbow bubble snakes.

Dates: Sept. 9, 16; Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28; Nov. 11. Tuition is $145 for the seven wks.

Learning With Legos, “Amazing Architecture” Theme

Cities, bridges, museums and parks oh my! Master Builders unite to recreate different architectural wonders from around the globe! Weekly challenges will encourage your young makers to work together to complete a replica of works designed by world famous architects. We will look at various types of architecture and the styles and designs of famous architects such as Frank Loyd Wright, Gaudi and Zaha Hadid. Students will explore potential design solutions and prototyping them. Our young architects will draw floor plans, build model homes, collage Hundertwasser Houses, create city-scapes and much more. Your young scientist will love learning about our world and places around the globe in these hands-on Lego lessons.

Dates: Nov. 18; Dec. 2, 9, 16; Jan. 6, 13, 27. Tuition is $145.00 for the seven wks.

Science Club, NASA & Space Theme

Science Club is ideal for students interested in science, math, creating, exploring, analyzing data, building and working with others that have similar interests. In this fun series, future NASA Scientists will play fun space themed games, do messy hands-on activities, complete out of this world crafts, and participate in experiments to learn about NASA’s work on Earth and beyond!

Dates: Feb. 3, 10, 24; Mar. 3, 10, 24, 31. Tuition is $145 for the seven weeks.

Learning With Legos Classes, “WeDo Robotics” Theme

Calling all builders, makers and creative kids! Enroll your child in after school Learning With Legos classes to enhance their creativity and building skills. Fun weekly challenges will encourage your young makers to work together to create a prototype, test it and problem solve any mistakes. If your child is eager to learn the basics of coding then this class is for them! Lego building and coding merge so students can build with Legos and use an iPads to code their creations. They will build a glowing snail, make mazes for Hex Bugs and a Sphero, meet Milo the science rover then code Milo to do a variety of things. We will also collaborate with others to mesh kits and come up with new building ideas!
