Science or Magic? Join Us to Find Out!
Science Club is ideal for students interested in science, math, literature, creating, exploring, analyzing data, building and working with others that have similar interests. Join us and discover how magicians use science in their magic tricks. Be ready to wow your family and friends with your knowledge of magic tricks that are actually based on science! We will uncover the mystery of floating ink, jumping beverage cans, inertia and curious curves.
Dates: Sept. 5, 12, 19, 26; Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24.
Tuition is $165 for the eight weeks.
Learning With Legos, “Amazing Earth” Theme
Master Builders unite to recreate different habitats and natural wonders from around the globe! Fun weekly challenges will encourage your young makers to work together to learn about and create some of the most amazing places on Earth. Projects include building the jungles of South America, under water habitats, caves, volcanos and learn about the layers of Earth and what happens in an earthquake. Your young scientist will love learning about our natural world and places around the globe in these hands-on Lego lessons.
Dates: Nov. 7, 14, 28; Dec. 5, 12, 19; Jan. 9, 16, 23.
Tuition is $185.00 for the nine weeks.
Monart Drawing, Jungle Animals Theme
Draw and learn about the blue morpho butterfly, sloth, jaguar, anteater, pink river dolphin, toucan, parrot and so many more! Have fun painting the canopy abundant with jungle life. Students will enjoy using watercolor, wax resist, marker, colored pencil, liquid graphite sticks, chalk and oil pastels, collage and modeling clay.
Dates: Jan. 30; Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27; Mar. 5, 19, 26.

Learning With Legos Classes, “Simple Machines” Theme
Calling all builders, makers and creative kids! Enroll your child in after school Learning with Legos classes to enhance their creativity and building skills. Fun weekly challenges will encourage your young makers to work together to create a prototype, test it and problem solve any mistakes. Cars, planes and boats, oh my! Students will have fun completing new challenges each week and learn the science and history behind each mechanical challenge in hands on lessons. Students can also look forward to re-creating their Lego ideas to take home with recyclables and “junk art” materials from our stash.
Dates: Apr. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; May 7, 14, 21.
