Students learn the basics of drawing while experimenting with new media including markers, colored pencils, chalk and oil pastels, watercolor and much more. This guided step-by-step method improves visual perception skills by breaking down the subject matter for children to see and follow along. Join classes now to discover the Monart difference!

FIRST SESSION: JUNGLE ANIMALS
MAKE A TOUCAN OUT OF MODELING CLAY!
Draw and learn about the blue morpho butterfly, sloth, jaguar, anteater, pink river dolphin, toucan, parrot and so many more! Have fun painting the canopy abundant with jungle life. Students will enjoy using watercolor, wax resist, marker, colored pencil, liquid graphite sticks, chalk and oil pastels.
Dates: Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28; Oct. 5, 19, 26; Nov. 2.
Tuition is $90 for the eight weeks.
SECOND SESSION: FACES & PEOPLE
MAKE A MODELING CLAY SELF PORTRAIT SCULPTURE!
Has your child always wanted to learn how to draw cartoon and realistic faces? Then this is the class for them! Subject matter will progressively become more realistic and detailed as we draw several people from American history and folk stories including Abe Lincoln, Sacajawea, Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan with Babe the Blue Ox, the Statue of Liberty, cartoon faces and a self-portrait with crazy hair. Students will enjoy air dry clay, watercolor, design markers, colored pencils and more!
Dates: Nov. 9, 16, 30; Dec. 7, 14; Jan. 4, 11, 18.

FOURTH SESSION: ANCIENT EGYPT
PAINT WITH GOLD WATERCOLOR ON REAL PAPYRUS!
Do you love ancient times, mummies and all things Egypt? We do too! Have fun drawing & painting all while learning about Bast, King Tut, Queen Nefertiti, the pyramids and Sphinx, mummies, design a scarab brooch and draw on REAL papyrus from Egypt and paint with metallic paints!
Dates: Mar. 28; Apr. 4, 11, 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16.
