Most lessons at the Monart School of Art are group lessons. Private art instruction, however, is an opportunity to have the teacher’s undivided attention for questions and support. Private instruction is perfect for students who cannot attend scheduled lessons, or someone not comfortable in a group setting. Our certified Monart instructors can work with individuals trying media for the first time, or support artists with a work in progress who may be looking for a new direction. We require a commitment of 4 classes at the same designated time each week to begin private lessons. Committing to a minimum of four lessons provides the student opportunity for introduction, learning and growth. Many of the teen-adult lesson plans are adapted from the college level. Our instructors will help you first learn how to draw, then work with you to develop your personal style and take your art to the next level. Lessons are customized to build students’ skills and knowledge of art, keeping their interests in mind.
