Come have a fun, enriching experience during Kids Day Out! Children will get creative rotating between art and craft stations, have center time, play outside weather permitting, participate in PE class, dance, twirling and/or music theatre. A variety of art materials will be used each day; dress in clothes that can get messy, wear tennis shoes and sunscreen.
Children under Kindergarten age MUST register for half day due to KDHE regulations.
*ALL STUDENTS: Bring a backpack, lunch, snacks, water bottle, we go outside in most weather. Please make sure items are labeled with names. Wear tennis shoes & dress for a mess.*
Geared Towards Students Aged 4 – 12 Years Old
Half Day Option: 9:00-12:30, $30 per person, per day (bring a lunch, we eat lunch at 11:00)
Full Day Option: 9:00-4:00, $45 per person, per day

Jan. 2, Watercolor Paint Day: Paint a cozy red fox with clothes and participate in an indoor snowball fight in the afternoon.
Jan. 5, Tinker Lab: Build a fantasy cardboard gingerbread house with lots of fun candy details. Students will use Chomp Saws to safely cut cardboard.
Jan. 19, Clay Day: Create a cute mini clay penguin with a winter scene.
Feb. 16, Lego Day: Design and build a robot with Lego parts to take home, build aliens with space habitats with your buddies and watch a Lego movie in the p.m.

Mar. 13, Printmaking Day: We will make pretty mono-print cards with Gelli Plates or foam plates. This is always a popular KDO so register early!
Mar. 16, Lego Day: Draw a Lego dragon and decorate your creation with costume jewelry to look like a dragon’s hoard and build with your buddies.
Mar. 17, St. Patrick’s Day Theme: Remember to wear your green!!! Make a leprechaun trap and decorate with glitter and gold to lure naughty leprechauns.
Mar. 18, Junk Art Day: Dig through our bins of cool stuff to make a junk art nature scene such as mountains, an underwater scene or your favorite animal.
Mar. 19, Clay Day: Make a cute little gnome and mushroom with a habitat.
Mar. 20, Cardboard Sculpture Day: Cut out a cardboard zoo animal on the Chomp Saw, color with Quick Sticks then decorate with costume jewelry & craft materials.
Apr. 3, Tinker Lab: Cute wooden bunnies made with wood pieces, bottle cap eyes and fabric bow ties will really get your family ready for spring!
Apr. 6, Our Natural World: Kiddos will have fun drawing a bug jar picture, playing nature inspired games and participate in nature bingo weather permitting.
May 22, Lego Day: Creative builders will enjoy crafting a giant jungle together with Legos and drawing a parrot to watercolor.
May 26, Fun in the Sun! Bring your swimsuit, towel and sunscreen for fun water and sensory play on the playground. If weather is inclement, we will have a fun water/sensory day INSIDE with creative activities, sensory centers, and make slime.
May 27, Clay Day: Make marbleized beads with Sculpey clay and string onto a necklace to wear.
May 28, Printmaking Day: Students will draw a simple bird image then create a foam printing plate based on their drawing. Next students will print on a flour sack towel, t-shirt or canvas bag for a unique usable piece of art.
May 29, Tie-Dye Day: Join us to tie-dye a t-shirt and pair of socks to take home.
