SCULPTURE & CLAY THEME!

All new projects! Students will enjoy making art with a variety of materials including air dry clay, oil based clay, mosaic, fiber arts, woodworking, assemblage, using wood burning tools, embroidery, paper mache, junk art, whittling and collage. Students will also enjoy participating in drawing and painting projects using the patented Monart Drawing Method. Some projects will be holiday or seasonally themed while others are inspired by the Animal Kingdom and natural world. *Students will be escorted to Kid’s Club by WCS staff and picked up upon arrival by the Art instructor.
Class meets Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 in the Lair Basement Dance Studio
FALL SESSION: SCULPTURE & PAINTING
Join us to make a paper mache animal bank, Model Magic sea creatures, painted rocks, sculpey jewelry, watercolor painting experiments, a terrarium and more!
Dates: Sept. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; Oct. 7, 14, 28; Nov. 4, 11, 18.
Tuition is $310 for 11 wks.
WINTER SESSION: SCULPTURE
Projects include a glass mosaic winter scene, a plaster tree craft, mosaic Sculpey ornaments, a wooden hedgehog, cardboard creations, an acrylic painting on canvas and more!
Dates: Dec. 2, 9, 16; Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27; Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24.
Tuition is $310 for the 11 weeks.
SPRING SESSION: CLAY THEME
Students will enjoy several different types of clay including oil based modeling clay, air dry clay, Model Magic, homemade dough and Sculpey. Make a clay piece of pizza, aliens and monsters, a marbleized snail and snake, 3D cactus in a pot, a keychain with beads and more!
Dates: Mar. 3, 10, 24, 31; Apr. 7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12.
Tuition is $280 for the 10 weeks.
