Learning With Legos Classes, “Simple Machines” Theme
Calling all builders, makers and creative kids! Enroll your child in after school Learning with Legos classes to enhance their creativity and building skills. Fun weekly challenges will encourage your young makers to work together to create a prototype, test it and problem solve any mistakes. Cars, planes and boats, oh my! Students will have fun completing new challenges each week and learn the science and history behind each mechanical challenge in hands on lessons. Students can also look forward to re-creating their Lego ideas to take home with recyclables and “junk art” materials from our stash.
Dates: Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28; Oct. 5, 12, 26.
Tuition is $80.00 for the 7 weeks.
Monart Drawing: South American Jungle Animals Theme
Draw and learn about the blue morpho butterfly, sloth, jaguar, anteater, toucan, parrot, pink river dolphin and so many more! Have fun painting the canopy abundant with jungle life. Students will enjoy using bright, liquid watercolor, wax resist, modeling clay, marker, watercolor crayons, liquid graphite sticks, acrylic paints, chalk and oil pastels.
Dates: Nov. 2, 9, 16, 30; Dec. 7, 14; Jan. 4, 11.

Science or Magic? Join Us to Find Out!
Science Club is ideal for students interested in science, math, literature, creating, exploring, analyzing data, building and working with others that have similar interests. Join us and discover how magicians use science in their magic tricks. Be ready to wow your family and friends with your knowledge of magic tricks that are actually based on science! We will uncover the mystery of floating ink, jumping beverage cans, inertia and curious curves.
Dates: Jan. 18, 25; Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Mar. 7.

Monart Drawing, Ancient Egypt Theme
Do you love ancient times, mummies and all things Egypt? We do too! Have fun drawing & painting all while learning about Bast, King Tut, Queen Nefertiti, the pyramids and Sphinx, mummies, design a scarab brooch, paint on REAL papyrus from Egypt using metallic paints!
Dates: Mar. 21; Apr. 4, 11, 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16.
