MONART’S FIRST STEPS PRE-SCHOOOL ART PROGRAM NOW AT
WSU CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER!
Join the First Steps Pre-school Art Program and improve your pre-schooler’s fine motor skills and boost their self-confidence. Children experiment with different media while improving hand-coordination, problem solving skills and sequencing. Thematic units of study will be explored and art work created based on a book that is read each week. Each week students will participate in a short, guided drawing lesson and make a collage project. First Steps was developed by former WCS pre-school teacher, Kate Pepper. We look forward to helping your child with “pencil grip,” scissor skills and encouraging their love of art!
Meets Fridays, 9:30-10:15, Ages 3-5 at WSU’s Child Dev. Center
The theme for the fall session (Sept.-Nov.) is: Mother Goose
