Winter Break Camp at The Art Park
“WINTER EXTRAVAGANZA” Theme
Come have a fun, enriching experience when school is out! Children will get creative making art projects, fun seasonal crafts, have center time, and play outside weather permitting. All day students will participate in a variety of activities each afternoon by rotating between the businesses on our campus such as Kelcy’s Dance Studio, PE, Music Together and A+ Twirling. The theme is “WINTER EXTRAVAGANZA,” students will create unique pieces of art that will be cherished for years to come. Invite your friends for these memory making activities! Geared for ages 4-12, half day and full day options, we eat lunch at 11:00 and have both a morning and afternoon snack.
**ALL STUDENTS: Masks are mandatory! Bring a sack lunch, two snacks, a water bottle, and coat/gloves/hat. Please make sure all items are labeled with names. Wear tennis shoes and clothes that can get messy.**
Dec. 21, Gingerbread House – Make a cute candy gingerbread house and collage craft.
Dec. 22, Clay Ornaments – Get crafty with THREE different types of air-dry clay to complete sparkly ornaments!
Dec. 23, Christmas Tree Sculpture – Make a 3D Christmas tree sculpture complete with glitter glue garland and re-purpose antique jewelry for sparkly ornaments!
Dec. 24, Acrylic Reindeer (half day only) – Paint a reindeer on canvas board- wear clothes that can get messy because we will do splatter paint!
Dec. 28, Snowman – Silly snowman sculpture, snowflake printing and ornament craft.
Dec. 29, Acrylic Polar Bear – Paint a cute polar wearing a scarf with acrylics on poster board. Wear clothes that can get messy – we will do splatter paint!
Dec. 30, Arctic Landscape – Use watercolor and wax resist to create beautiful aurora borealis in the sky and craft a glass lantern to take home.
Dec. 31, Arctic Owl – Do you love junk art? Us too! We will make two different owls out of pieces of wood, metal, fabric and bits and bobs of junk!
Jan. 4, Woodburning – Students will have several wooden objects to choose from including a picture frame, ornaments, wooden spoon, bookmark or animal shapes.
Half Day Option: 9:00-12:30, Tuition is $25 per person (Masks are mandatory, bring a lunch, we eat at 11:00, two snacks and a water bottle, make sure to label all items with names)
