ART AND LEGO COMBO CLASS THIS SUMMER AT WFS!
Join us this summer for educational Monart Drawing classes and Learning With Legos at Wichita Friends School. Each week students will experiment with new media and have fun building with kits and curriculum designed by Lego Corp. as they travel around the world learning about cultures and animals on the different continents.
Monart Drawing lessons for the summer include interesting animals such as a kangaroo and koala, hedgehog, lionfish, pronghorn, as well as a Zulu Warrior and a Native American Princess. Learn how to use watercolor pencils, watercolor paint, tempera cakes, chalk pastel, design markers and acrylic. Lego lessons will include building towers, experimenting with racecars and boats while using unusual kits such as Lego Simple Machines, Story Starters, More to Math, Build to Express and Learn to Learn.
Geared for ages: 3-10, class placement will be determined upon enrollment. Meets in the Multipurpose Room at Wichita Friends.
