MONART DRAWING CLASSES

Join us and learn the basics of drawing while experimenting with new media including markers, colored pencils, chalk and oil pastel, watercolor & more. This guided step-by-step method improves visual perception skills by breaking down the subject matter for students to see and follow along with. Everyone is successful in Monart classes!

FIRST SESSION: AFRICAN ANIMALS
If you like to learn about animals this is the class for you! Students will learn how to draw lots of interesting animals including a rhino, cheetah, giraffe, crocodile, hornbill toucan and many more! Learn how to use watercolor pencils, watercolor paint, tempera cakes, chalk and oil pastel and marker.
Meets: Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27; Oct. 4, 11.

SECOND SESSION: HARRY POTTER AND FANTASTICAL BEASTS
If you like the world of magic join us to draw, paint and make sculptures inspired by characters from Harry Potter! Projects include an assemblage character block sculpture, drawing and painting wizards, mythical creatures, animal pets, make super fun crafts from movie props such as a furry Monster Book, wand and flying snitch and customize your own patronus.
