FIRST STEPS PRE-SCHOOL ART PROGRAM
Does your child love to draw, paint, cut and glue? Want to help boost your child’s fine motor skills? Then join us for art classes once a week with teachers from the Monart School of Art right here at Inspiration Station! This unique program is designed specifically for 3-5 year olds to practice cutting and drawing skills. Monart is a time-tested program that has been offered in Montessori schools across the nation for over 40 years!
Class Meets: Thursday in the pre-school room 11:45-12:30.
Theme: Fall Holidays and Painting
Students will enjoy a classic piece of literature at group time and learn songs and finger plays. After group time students are guided through a drawing, collage project, air-dry clay creation or sculpture. Subject matter includes a pumpkin, bat, scarecrow and more! This class is offered to accommodate morning students after their regular classroom time.
Dates: Oct. 11, 18, 25; Nov. 7, 14, 21. Tuition for the 6 week session is $95.00 and includes all materials. Second child ½ price!
WINTER SEMESTER: “Winter Weather and Hibernation.” Students will enjoy a classic piece of literature at group time and learn songs and finger plays. After group time students are guided through a drawing, collage, sculpture or clay project. Subject matter includes birds, snowflake crafts, gingerbread men and snow-people. This class is offered to accommodate morning students after their classroom time.
Dates: Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30; Feb. 6, 13. Tuition: 6 week session $95.00 and includes all materials. SECOND CHILD 1/2 PRICE!
SPRING SEMESTER (1): is “Bugs and Butterflies.” Students enjoy group time, drawing and collaging the “animal of the day.” This class is offered to accommodate morning students after their classroom time.
Dates: Feb. 20, 27; Mar. 5, 12, 26; Apr. 2.Tuition for the 6 week session is $95.00, second child ½ price!
