MONART DRAWING CLASSES
Want to improve your child’s fine motor skills, attention span and handwriting? Then join us for Monart drawing classes where everyone is successful! Students learn the basics of drawing while experimenting with new media including markers, color sticks, oil and chalk pastel, watercolor and much more. Tuition includes all materials.
Ages: 1st-5th grade, Tuesdays 3:10-4:10, in the Art Room
FIRST SESSION: AFRICAN ANIMALS
If you like to learn about animals this is the class for you! Students will learn how to draw lots of interesting animals including a rhino, cheetah, giraffe, crocodile, hornbill toucan and many more! Learn how to use watercolor pencils, watercolor paint, tempera cakes, chalk pastel, design markers and acrylic paint.
Meets: Sept. 11, 18, 25; Oct. 2, 9, 16.

SECOND SESSION: HARRY POTTER AND FANTASTICAL BEASTS
If you like the world of magic join us to draw, paint and make sculptures inspired by characters from Harry Potter! Projects include an assemblage character block sculpture, drawing and painting wizards, mythical creatures, animal pets, make super fun crafts from movie props such as a furry Monster Book, wand and flying snitch and customize your own patronus.
