MONART DRAWING CLASSES
Join us and learn the basics of drawing while experimenting with new media including design-quality markers, colored pencils, chalk and oil pastel, watercolor and much more. This guided step-by-step method improves visual perception skills by breaking down the subject matter for students to see and follow along with. Parents and teachers report an improvement in fine motor skill development as well as handwriting.
Meets Wednesday 3:45-4:45pm, Ages: 1st-5th grade
FALL SESSION: Living Rainbows Theme
Students will learn about the color wheel and use that knowledge to draw, paint and collage colorful animals in nature such as a butterfly, tropical bird and under water scenes. Look forward to lots of painting in this semester!

Tuition: $185.00 for the 9 week session
SPRING SESSION: Cartooning And Characters Theme
Students will learn how to make a funny caricature drawing of themselves, develop a cartoon strip and draw favorite characters from books, movies, games and cartoons. Students will vote each week on what to draw; some options may be Lego figurines, Disney characters, mythical creatures, mer-pets, Dr. Seuss characters or Garfield. Bring pictures of your favorite characters to draw.
